Over the years I have become passionate and curious about data and research. I tend to be an obsessive learner who loves behavioral economics. As my home page suggests, I earned over 3 million frequent flyer miles consulting on every continent except Antarctica.
Practitioner
I often find myself cross-pollinating classic and contemporary methods. I take bits from all the different industries, companies that I have worked. I keep learning and applying the latest techniques including machine learning, data mining, artificial intelligence and text analytics.
Academics
I try to keep one toe in academia. I taught in an M.B.A. program and Graduate Psychology for over a decade. In fact, I instructed over 50 sections of statistics, quantitative analysis, organizational behavior and economics courses. Additionally, I authored several books and contributed chapters in several books (see resume for listing). MyBookSucks, with nearly 20 million views, is another form of academia where I can teach to students all over the world.
Public Speaking
I have presented papers at conferences in the USA, Europe and Asia.
